Inbuilt Calendar crashing

Today (16th Apr 2015) i updated my xperia z3 compact to Android 5.0.2 build number 23.1.A.0.726. After the update my calendar is not working. Whenever i open calendar it crashes and throws an error message "Unfortunately, Calendar has stopped"

Anyone else facing similar issue? Can anyone provide a solution for this?

Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines

You may need to try clearing the Calendar data.

Menu > Settings > Apps > All > Calendar > Clear Data.

Let us know how this goes.

......erasing agenda data? are you really so stupid to sugest that?  why would someone want to fix the agenda if he has to erase all data....then there is nothing left to fix... duh

als booting the phone in safe mode makes the agenda unaccesable...... why are you people trying to give advice while you dont even know it works??? just say nothing if you dont know for sure it will work

i have freaking important stuff in my agenda and suddenly today it decided to stop working.... how do i save my data
