I've had a Z5 for a couple of years now and I love the phone.
Its battery life is very poor now and its charging socket only
works with one particular cable and I'm attached to a power
cell most of the time!
I bought a brand new one from an eBay seller a couple of weeks
ago but it had a fault and he took it back despite saying that he
doesn't accept returns. The front camera was out of alignment
with the screen glass and the image it generated was totally blurred.
Before I sent it back I asked Sony about a warranty repair but they
said it was out of warranty despite it being brand new out of the box.
So to cut a long story short, I just want to buy a brand new one with a warranty.
A lot of eBay sellers and other outlets are selling them now for about £150 but
I'd pay a bit more to secure the warranty. Then I can get my old one fixed and have
it as a spare.
Anyone know if this is even possible?
Pic below shows the camera out of place...
(also there's a hole to the right which isn't on my old Z5)
