Headphones stoped working after 3 days.

I have had my phone for 3 days and havent had any problems till today, this morning my headset was working, listening to spotify and been talking aswell. But then I didnt use it while on work but on my way home when I was going to listen to some music it suddenly didnt work at all, the integrated speakers starts directly and I have tried 2 different headsets but none of them works, either with music or calls. I have tried to fully reset the phone but still doesnt work.

Anyone know what else I can try or might it be broken already!?

I also facing a similar problem, my headset was suddenly didnt detected by my Z2 phone...

I had tried restart, disable smart connect, update the software/firmware version, and I also do repair the phone accepting data-lost. But all the work I done seems doesn't help...

Could Sony support further investigate such problem ASAP? Is it a design flaw?

(I had tried to plug the headset the any other devices and it works well except to the my new Z2 phone)...

Problem solved!

Kinda funny but as I were going to send my phone in for DOA I thought I would do one last complete check of what the problem could be.. the one thing I hadnt looked close(enough) on was the 3,5 socket.

As I tried to look inside the socket with a flashlight it looked to be something grey at the bottom so I took toothpick and sweeped around inside at the bottom of the whole and out came alot of fuzz, apparently enough to cover the metal pins inside that made the 3,5 plugg not getting a connection with the pins.

After getting the fuzz out it works without a problem!

So it might not have been such a great idea not to have any cover for the 3,5 socket after all, it's great that it's waterproof inside aswell but maybe they still should have added a cover as this probably will be quite a usuall problem from just having it inside your pocket!

I hope my discovery might help others aswell and now you know what to look for at first place if your headphones stops working and there doesn't seem to be any software problem at all.
