I'm UK on EE and i got the update earlier this week ( Monday) via the Update Service.

By update service I mean the Sony Update Service program that you download on your computer/laptop.

Nothing with a UK Sim-free handset. I really don't understand how carrier models can get the update before an unlocked model.

Yep, same here ....... UK, neither VF (SIM Locked) or O2 (SIM Free) has the update.

I really do hope I have not brought into a system where the manufacturer is poor at updates 😞
