I have the xperia Z3v.

When I try to look for the new software update, the message "Error during DM session" its show.

Anybody knows how can I update my phone even if the PC Companion also doesn't detect it?

As I know, the Verizon phone cames fabric unlock. So I don't have it with a Verizon chip. Why I don't believe that this could cause the error right?

hello.

i use to have the same problem with this phone!! i had to of them (xperia z3v)

now i been able to get android 5.1.1 with the next steps:

1.-download the Xperia Companion

2.-you have to save any data of your phone (video, fotos, music)

3.-open xperia companion and select "software repair" ans then th option that says "here"

4.-follow the steps until it told you to power off your phone

5.-then press and hold the volume down key and plug it with the USB still holding the botton

6.-then you just have to wait until is done, it will take a while (but it only was with the first phone, the second was very quick)

7.-then you have to power on your phone (this will take more than the regular but it is normal)

8.-now you have android 5.1.1 and you have to put your gmail acount again

Im unable to upgrade my xperia z3 as it is giving error of "error during Dm session"
