Error "DM SESSION" while trying to look for Android Update

I have the xperia Z3v.

When I try to look for the new software update, the message "Error during DM session" its show.

Anybody knows how can I update my phone even if the PC Companion also doesn't detect it?

As I know, the Verizon phone cames fabric unlock. So I don't have it with a Verizon chip. Why I don't believe that this could cause the error right?

I'm sure that's a proxy issue

Go to Settings > More > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names > Tap the one selected > Delete the proxy IP. Now test

Dm stands for Device management so if it's not a Proxy then it could be anything from Facebook videos to scanning for updates

But I don't have the FB applications installed yet.

In the Settings of "Administrator Devices" there is one called "Red Bend DM client for Verizon" that has the same logo of Android inside a phone with red circle arrows. Maybe it has something related?

Very possible - The FB thing was just an example of the scope of issues it could be but if you have an app that is of the same icon/logo then you appear to have tracked down the offending item

This is the "device administrator. Is not an app itself.

What would you recommend?

I honestly don't know as the app in question seems to be a network specific app or part of a branded firmware so I would advise that if this continues then you speak to them
