Ear speaker not working while at home?

Hello,

New to this forum, and could not find any call error specific section, so I hope I posted this  in the correct one.

I've had an odd problem lately which is that my ear speaker does at times not function, and this problem only occurs while Im at home. Whenever Im in another location, e.g outside or even while riding the train through areas with low connection it works, and the loud speaker always work. Has anyone encountered this problem and have a fix for it? I hate using the loud speaker, and I find this issue absurd. I have tried changing it to factory settings, force quitting phone app, reboot and safe mode reboot, all to no avail.

One thing comes to my mind now, bad network coverage.

Thats also what Im thinking, but would that explain why the ear speaker isn't working inside at times while the loud speaker always do function?

I have no idea,this sounds like something strange. Do you have any call enhancements? Mic noise suppression?

I have tried to turn those features on and off again, no changes from what I can tell. And if it was hardware, wouldn't it fail at times even outside?

It should fail all the time,not only in some circumstances. You should contact your local sony team:

Sounds like the only way to find an answer. I have literally not seen a single post on the net having the same issue as the one I have. It worked fine today and yesterday when I used the ear speaker, the day before that it didnt work, so I understand nothing. I have not made any changes between when it didnt work and when it worked. 😕
