Hi, i have owned the Z.....Z1 & now the Z2.......have had my Z2 since the launch, love the phone....specs are fantastic, stunning looking also...i did not go for the Z3 as the specs were not much different & it had some changes to the actual look of the phone that i did not like......Z4 should be out possibly May/June time if not a bit later......since the 4.4.4 update there have been a lot of users over the Z range who have suffered probems, i'm lucky not to have suffered any real problems......as mentioned Lollipop wil start to get rolled out very soon....

My advice to anyone thinking of buying one would be to go ahead.....others would say no......it is 2 pieces of glass in an aluminium frame, treat it respectfully, get a good case, dont treat it like a 'normal' sized mobile......look at the iPhone 6+ problems with bending when it came out.....

At the end of the day everyone has their own opinion.....good luck & enjoy whichever mobile you choose :smileysmileythumbsup:

Overheating is a normal case.

As long as you don't too overheat it(until 80°C) ,then the battery will be fine.

The average battery temperature is around 30°C-55°C
So you should be fine.

The overheating will not break the glass unless you dropped it at certain heights.

I don't think it will overheat to the point you can't touch it.

Unless you run a lot of heavy apps or download a massive thing while playing online games.

WiFi drop, thats i'm quite unsure. But 4.4.4 update had mostly resolved bugs and issues.

But you could test it at the Center Grinning_Face

Hi, if you are for instance shooting a 4k video or indeed a video game & for some reason the phone starts to get too hot for that particular application, the phone flashes a warning message on the screen to let you know & will shut down if it reaches a set temperature.......it is a built in safety mechanism to stop you damaging the phone......with regards to wifi, i have never suffered any problems but i know some people have but this could be due to other factors involved & not necessarily the phone.

Hope this helps :smileysmileywink:

If i were you,i would go for it.

3GB of RAM,20.7MP of camera and 5.0Lollipop update incoming, then why not?

But of course its best to buy directly from Sony Center or from an Sony-Authorised dealer.I advise you not to buy it online or from normal mobile shops to avoid upcoming problems regarding warranty.

Again,its totally your choice.

And oh,don't forget to buy a magnetic charging cable/magnetic dock,to avoid from opening and closing the micro usb flap too often for charging, resulting in the loss of waterproofness over extended period of time(the rubber seal wears off).

All the best ! Slightly_smiling_Face

As far as i am aware the overheating seems to affect some more than others but this is probably the user being worried due to the phone getting hot.....it is normal for the phone to get hot but not excessively & if it does get excessive it will shut down to protect itself
