Hi, i have owned the Z.....Z1 & now the Z2.......have had my Z2 since the launch, love the phone....specs are fantastic, stunning looking also...i did not go for the Z3 as the specs were not much different & it had some changes to the actual look of the phone that i did not like......Z4 should be out possibly May/June time if not a bit later......since the 4.4.4 update there have been a lot of users over the Z range who have suffered probems, i'm lucky not to have suffered any real problems......as mentioned Lollipop wil start to get rolled out very soon....
My advice to anyone thinking of buying one would be to go ahead.....others would say no......it is 2 pieces of glass in an aluminium frame, treat it respectfully, get a good case, dont treat it like a 'normal' sized mobile......look at the iPhone 6+ problems with bending when it came out.....
At the end of the day everyone has their own opinion.....good luck & enjoy whichever mobile you choose :smileysmileythumbsup:
thank you very much for reply... am a big fan or sony and using sony mobiles since k300.... well .. my last mobile was sony xperia zr and that was also gets too much hot.. so does xperia z2 gets that much hot that u cant even tuch after 1 hours of playing game on it ? and does that drop wifi .. cuase my xperia zr was drop the wifi all the time and sometime was not even connect to any routere !
Hi, if you are for instance shooting a 4k video or indeed a video game & for some reason the phone starts to get too hot for that particular application, the phone flashes a warning message on the screen to let you know & will shut down if it reaches a set temperature.......it is a built in safety mechanism to stop you damaging the phone......with regards to wifi, i have never suffered any problems but i know some people have but this could be due to other factors involved & not necessarily the phone.
Hope this helps :smileysmileywink:

As far as i am aware the overheating seems to affect some more than others but this is probably the user being worried due to the phone getting hot.....it is normal for the phone to get hot but not excessively & if it does get excessive it will shut down to protect itself
