Difference between firmwares

Can I ask whats the difference between firmwares of the same number, say 23.4.A.0.546 when they have different ending like R3C (US customized) and R6C (HK or Rusia).

Thanks.

Some may claim one is better than the other but this maybe due in part to network or country addons or they just think it's better but the main bulk of the firmware is the same but yes you can install any firmware that is for the D6633 not another variant of the Z3 series firmware

Little things which all firmwares of all OEM's use - Year, Month of release and revision of said firmware maybe not in that order - So it's the same but it may have been released later and the revision number is because it has different pre-loaded apps which are either country or network specific

So, for example, my D6633 can use either of the supported firmwares and even though one might be R3C and another R6C the Sony part of the firmware should be the same, meaning there shouldn't be any major differences between them other than some customization due to the firmwares being released to different markets, right?

I'm asking because of all the fuss going arround 5.1.1 firmwares and people saying that the R6C firmwares should be better than the others because of that different nomenclature, but my phone came with the US firmware 4.4.4 then 5.0.2 and now 5.1.1 and it shouldn't work "better" with the Rusia firmware just because one is R3C and the other R6C, right?
