Thank you, that solved it.
Must have been a mistake in the 4.4.4 upgrade. It was completely disabled ?!?
Glad to hear that it works now
It should be enabled by default so something must have happened during the update if you didn't disable it by yourself.
Please check the list just in case so nothing else that you want enabled has been disabled. Disabled apps should be at the top of the list. By default, nothing should be disabled there.
Can you check if the same occurs in safe mode?

Thanks !!!
But nothing changes after secure reboot.
New information:
When the caller stops calling my display shaws who has called (is no more black).
Any idea ???
Hi, have you recently fitted a screen protecter....basically what you are saying is if the phone is sitting say flat & it rings the screen does not light up with who is calling....this sounds like a proximity sensor problem...try dialling *#*#7378423#*#* to test it by going to Service Tests then scrolling down to Proximity switch
Screen should be black with Proximity sensor off........put your finger over the sensor then it should change to On
At least this test will determine if it is a problem with the sensor
Good luck :smileysmileywink:
