Contacts and google

Hi there!

Ive looked all around but cannot find a solution - on the Samsung phone in the Contacts app there were an option in the settings menu that would merge the localy stored (on the phone itself) contacts be merged with the google account!

And i cannot find such option on my Xperia Z1 Compact... can anyone help - where to find this option or the similar one? Maybe some app on Android market is capable of doing that? All i need is to move my localy stored contacts to the google account...

Please, go to Settings -> -scroll down to accounts -> tap on the google account--> sync contacts. I´m at disposal for any question.

Thanks for idea... but that option is already enabled, but it does not sync those contacts which are stored as PHONE CONTACT (with note "device only, no backup")... and i cannot find a way to move them from PHONE CONTACT to GOOGLE CONTACT... on the Samsung S2 there were such option... cannot believe that Sony does not :(... Samsung phone even allowed to change this setting for each contact... but Sony does not allow this... only when creating new contact there is option where it will be stored - on PHONE or on GOOGLE...

Maybe you have something else in mind?

sorry for bothering... just found a way and it worked well...

get to the contacts - hit menu then hit the import/export button click export to SD and it will save a copy to your sd card then hit the import/export button again and will ask if you want to import to phone or google and they are all on google... also on PHONE memory... but i got the idea :)... thanks again for trying!
