I use an Xperia Z5 but whenever I connect my charger, the device would not detect it and it won't charge .the battery has also been started to drain quickly.

I think your battery may have reached is life limit.
Have you tried to check it with an app (for example Ampere), or with the built in test (*#*#7378423#*#*)?
