Audio Output Selection for Every Call

I need to select the headset earpiece every time I want to make or answer a call?

There does not appear to be a default setting for this anywhere on the phone.

You could try resetting the Smart Connect application.

Menu > Settings > Apps > All > Smart Connect > Clear data
