Hello @Patcasson, welcome to the forum!
I sorry to hear what happened to your phone. Have you done a back up on your phone lately? I'm afraid that if you haven't done a back up and you can't see anything on the screen there is not much you can do to save the data on the internal storage since the phone needs to be unlocked to access your data.
Do you have an SD-card in your phone? Unless it's encrypted, you should be able to access the photos on your card with the help of a SD-card reader or another phone.
You might want to take a peek at https://photos.google.com/ to see if your photos is saved there as well, and Google also have a similar service for your contacts here: https://contacts.google.com/
I hope you have a nice day!

Thanks for your reply Lina.
Unfortunately/stupidly I havent done a back up for quite some time.
Luckily I had been saving all my contacts to my Google account so I have got all my contacts back, and my photos.
Kind regards
Pat
Looks like I wont be able to get any of the orher files that are stored in my downloads folder etc. But at least that is all
Hi again @Patcasson, I'm really sorry that you lost your files, but I'm glad that your contacts and photos was saved! There are a few different ways to do a backup, backup using Xperia Companion is the simplest way. I understand that this won't help you now but can be useful knowledge in the future.
