I recently bought an Xperia Z5 Compact. When I booted it up I discover that it is stuck in some kind of "demo mode".
IO searched the internet for answers, and it gave me the suggestion to use the code *#*#73556673#*#* to disable it.
But it doesn't work. I tells me that it is a demo unit, and that the demo mode cannot be disabled.
I also tried to perfortm a repair-flash with help of your PC-software. But there the phone cannot enter the needed flash mode to get restored.
I have the original receipt and the bnox it came in, the IMEI matches, so I cannot understand how I got my hands on a demo unit that isn't supposed to be a demo unit ... ???
What else can I do? There still warranty on it.

Hi @SysGhost,
Demo units are not meant to be sold and I do not know how it happened that you got your hands on one. My recommendation is that you take it back to the retailer in order to have it swapped for a live retail unit.
