Xperia Tutorial Photography is something you can check about photography. I am not a phtographer myself, I use the camera mainly in superior auto.

Superior auto detects your scene and will adjust accordingly. There is no need to shoot in 23MP unless you'll crop.

You need to change resolution to 8MP or below to change ISO and for video change to FHD 30fps.

Does it seem odd to anyone that the 23mp doesn't work in manual? Only at a pathetic 8mp? Why can't Photographers get the best out of the camera?

It's a phone, not a camera.

Besides, every company, from Apple to Samsung to Sony, avoids selling the "definitive solution" which encompasses branches from personal computing, to mobile phone to professional photography and so on. Imagine a phone which works like a computer and let you take great pictures: would you ever buy other stuff?

If you want a professional grade camera you'd better cope with the idea of buying one. Marketing rules... rulez Slightly_smiling_Face
