Camera not working properly

After getting update of 5.1.1 in xperia z1, camera shows blank screen sometimes. I have to restart my phone to use the camera. 

Some apps like "Applock" of playstore are also not working in new update(5.1.1).

Try this: Go to Settings -> Apps -> All -> Camera -> Clear data and restart your phone.

I have the same problem. I tried clearing data and safe mode but it didn't solve the problem.

Did you install 5.1.1 over your old version without wiping? If you didn't, I'd suggest that you do a PC Companion phone repair, this will do a clean installation of the latest firmware and will also wipe your internal memory. You need to back up your data before you proceed.

Open PC Companion -> Support zone -> Phone/tablet software update -> Repair my phone/tablet (blue link style). Follow the steps given, do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable.

Try this, it worked for me.

Settings -> Developer options, Disable the "Use AwsomePlayer" if it is enabled.
