Bluetooth turn itself off

Bluetooth always turn itself off.
I,normally connect with Garmin watch at all times. This strange behavior happens after latest update to Aneroid 7. I must restart phone to get back in normal, but, not last for long. The Bluethooth turn off itself.

Anyone got same issue?
How to solve this problem?

Hi simed2,

I hope the RestartBT app helps you a little. Remember that if you reboot the phone, you'll have to start the app again. You can see how many times the app has found bluetooth turned off, and turned it on again, by checking the file 'restartbt.txt' in the top directory of your internal storage. You'll see that it writes a record of the date and time every time it turns bluetooth on.

This Xperia bug is very frustrating - I hope there is a fix soon.

I see 7.1.1 is on it's way for the Z5, will that come to the dual and if so will it fix this?

I heard that Google fixed a number of Bluetooth issues in version 7.1.2. So we may have to wait for that update.

I have started experiencing that problem too, or perhaps I've only recently noticed it since getting a smartwatch that requires a BT link to my phone. I reset my network settings, but that didn't work. I've got a workaround using ifttt to switch on BT if any BT connection is dropped.

I have a new Experia L1 work phone as I am a technician working in the NHS. Every time I switch it on in the morning the Bluetooth is off. Iv'e found out the hard way!  If I forget & drive it's not connected with my Toyota Touch & Go Bluetooth. Anoying if someone calls!  Is there a way of turning on Bluetooth when I switch the phone on?  Iv'e contacted Sony & await there reply. The wireless does come on automatically when I switch the phone on but the Bluetoooth is an issue not turning on. 

My own Nokia 8 is never switches off Bluetooth & connects straight away & neither did my previous phones. This is my first Sony phone.
