Back from the past ( from Xperia Mini To Xperia Z5 )

Ok Guys i'm an old sony fan and user

from 2008 with W850i walkman to 2012 Sony Xperia Mini and then gone to Microsoft phones for a while and now i want to go back to the famous Sony Xperia series the Z

i want to hear from you what the problem with this phone

i read a lot of review that on 5.1.1 it's a perfect phone from the battery to the phone it self

and especially the battery it could last 2 days with web browsing and facebook chating ? is that true ?

and i read a lot of reviews that after the 6.0.1 the battery and it's really bad with very huge drain ?

iis this problem that caused by Soft Charging like the Z3 or what ?

and how much SoT and battery life i can get with Web browsing and facebook chats ?

Xperia X has a better battery life with heavy use than the Xperia Z5, that's my personal experience, BUT, with that said, the Z5 it's a flagship phone, and the Xperia X it's not

It's all about what you do with the phone, the battery might not last as long as the Xperia Mini since you have a bigger screen, if you don't use the phone that much it will last 2 days, but that's assuming that you have really good network coverage

settings > about phone > status > signal strength

if you enable Stamina mode it will increase battery life, but if you whitelist apps that require data or WiFi it will drain the battery.

it's not about the flagship

maybe i'm gonna wait for the android 7 update and see if they fixed the battery issue on z5

It's not a battery issue, it's how much you use the phone and keep in mind that android 7 will be heavier than 6

so after all it's not a device  that can handle a moderate use over a day

Yes and no

What do you consider moderate use?

How many hours do you plan on keeping the screen on?

How is the network coverage?

Are you going to be on G, 2G, 3G or LTE?

how many background apps are you going to keep running and/or constantly syncing?

weather has an impact too

How many pictures and/or videos are you going to take?

Streaming services?

the list goes on and on
