Apps keep closing as soon as I open them+optimizing apps

Sorry this will be long..

Hello people, I hope you are all doing well with your xperias and this is by the way my first post here.
So guys this problem poped out if no where, my z3 battery died that the phone turned of so I plugged the charger and waited for it to charge, I booted the z3 as it finished charging and had this
"android is upgrading...
Optimizing apps (number) of 314 (sometimes 315,316)"

I though it's normal and it may happen from time to time to improve like the phone blah blah so yeah I rebooted my phone after a while and it did the same thing tried again and did the same thing, I didn't pay that much attention because it's rare that you reboot the phone or need to and when I can wait BTW IT TAKES LIKE 10 MINUTES
-----------
Once I had to open the camera to record something very important I opened it but is closes immediately again and again and then I noticed this with very various app pre-installed or not happens with albums Google Facebook it's soooo annoying
By restarting it works temporarily but GUESS WHAT THE OPTIMIZING PROBLEM IS THERE I'll wait 10 mins
And sometimes I get a call but It doesn't show the answer or reject page

Please help me guys please I'm traveling soon and I need this fixed up

Hi Seraj,

Welcome to the community,

I agree with Uliwooly on this one, sounds like a bad install. I have provided the instructions for repair below.

Here's how to run the repair on PC Companion:

1. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.
2. Phone Software Update.
3. Start.
4. Repair Phone
5. Continue
6. Accept data removal
7. Next
8. Wait for prepare
9. Select Phone
10. Follow the connection steps

And Bridge for Mac:

1. Launch Bridge for MAC without the handset connected.
2. On the Main Window select "Xperia > Repair Xperia Device".
3. Ensure the phone is charged and select "Ok" in the following window.
4. Select Continue on the following page.
5. Wait until the initialising step is finished the continue as below.
6 . Select your model of phone from the list that appears
7. Follow the connection steps that appear, ensuring that you are holding the relevant button down before during and after the connection phase until the update/repair begins.

Let us know how you get on.

I have the same problem, the android always suddenly death and starting to optimizing app, have tried to reset the phone but it still happen again, the battery indicator always changed sometimes it show 100% and suddenly drop to 16%, neither to the signal.

It is difficult to connect by pc companion due to suddenly death condition.

Please inform if anyone have solution for this problem. Thinking_Face

Having the same issue. Multiple resets with above method and no luck, not happy as phone is only a year old

This happens when the battery is busted. A repair will never fix that.
