App download

Dear Sony,

I have bought some Apps - the latest "7 min" Fitness App, but it won´t download. It says: "download awaits..." but nothing happens. Why is that?

I have deactivated som Apps that I didn´t use, to save some space and I have a 1gb MiniSD card in the phone.

Maybe my phone is too old, needs some updates or what ;0)

Please let me know

Hi @Raegge, welcome to our forum!

I'm sorry to hear about that.

Are you able to download other applications from the Google Play store, or do you experience the same behaviour with all applications?

I would recommend that you start with resetting the Google Play store application in your, this will not delete any applications or data for other application than the Google Play store.

To do that go to Settings > Apps > Google Play store > Storage > Clear data > OK.

Start the Google Play store application again and try downloading the fitness application again.

If there is no change, try downloading or updating another application in your phone and check if you get the same error message.

It has been a problem with downloading Apps for the last few weeks , but I just did as you suggested and it seems to work fine now. Thank You and have a nice day ;0)
