app download failed , memory decreased

Hi i was downloading a game and at 1,1GB It said error due to not enough space. After i check my memory it says 101 MB left. I was surprised because i thought when the game doesn't download no files are saved.i checked the file commander but i have no idea where can i find the files from the game

I rlly dont want to do a software repair or fabric reset 😕 i cant lose my data

Go to settings-apps,look for this game and clear data for it. Can you do that? The game might have been downloaded partially in android-obb and android-data.

The app wasn't installed fully 

I had about 1,8gb space in my internall memory

I start to download the app which has 1,8gb space from google play store. 

The app while having 1,8gb (98%) stopped downloading and said an error and it cant download the app because of not enough space in my internall memory 

Nothing was downloaded to my device but the memory has redused by the 1,8gb but there is no app (game) in my memory

As far as I know,even larger apps install first and after that download app data. But can you try to install only the apk again? 

Also,can you take a look in Android-obb and Android-data folders? Both can be found in internal memory.

Im looking in the android-obb and there are 6 files of gameloft but i have 5 games downloaded. So probably it is in my device but not downloaded fully. Idk which 1 to delete because there are 2 files with 1,8gb

Alright deleted it restarted the device and i have 1,97gb left thanks mate.

Due to a 905 error. Ive downloaded it multiple times because it had many times had error with the memory space and i had tp delete the android-obb file to clear the app files,  how to fix?

Have you tried to clear data for google play app?
