The cover over my speaker of my xperia z1 came off. Is the phone still waterproof? If not how can I repair it?

I wouldn't like to say as the foil cover is there to protect the waterproof ability surrounding the speaker - So it maybe possible that by loosing this foil cover that the plastic filament may have been damaged thus the waterproof ability is lost
