5.1.1 update process question

Hi,

I am just thinking of doing the update. I will definitely take all the backups. I will then download the OTA update and install.(that notification may go away if I just download and not install.. haven't tried that)

But question I have is - Does the update process remove existing data/apps/setting ?

I think it doesn't, but thought of asking because i have one particular online banking app which gives me limited functionality for weeks if I end up reinstalling..:-)

It will not delete anything, if you update over your previous version all your apps and data will kept intact. But also take backups in case something goes wrong or in case of any instability after updating.
