XZ1 Compact - Battery Drain with WIFI

Hi,

i have an issue with my XZ1C (Italy,last official firmware, no root).

I bought it at the end of October 2017 and really like it.

Till half of January everything was ok.

Starting from about that date, i noticed an issue with battery and wifi.

If my phone is on and i connect to a wifi, i see a battery drain rate about 6%/hour.

If i reboot the phone (leaving wifi on), everything comes back to normal (less than 1%/hour).

(Tested with two different routers)

No problem with 4G.

It happens to other users, too (see xda forum).

Is this a known issue?

There is/will be a solution?

Hi guys,
on  february 23th, i tried to see if Play Store in XZ1C was updated.
(play store, setting, tap on version)
It wasn't.
Tapping on version, it downloaded last version (8.9.24)
I rebooted the phone.

Battery drain on Wifi seems reduced (with my two modems) or maybe solved.

I'm monitoring the situation and i'll let you know.
