Starting last week i started to notice yellow spot on the screen. Its about 2 mm width, 1 cm high, 1 mm away from the edge near on/off button. Hard to notice on any pictures but easy to be seen on single colour screen, looks like burn. What could cause the issue and any suggestions what to do. Have this phone for less than a year but loads of problems.
In an Xperia Z5 I owned I also had a yellow stain, and some white dots, the white dots use to show when the screws are too tight, maybe the same to yellow, but its weird it suddenly appears, in my Z5 was since the first day, and the yellow stain was at the edge of the screen, like some light bleeding or something
I send it to repair and turned back with a new screen and now its perfect
Can you confirm if this was repaired under warranty?

well sir, I have had these issues as well here are the causes:
1) Heat.
2) pressure.
stay away from both and you should never see these dots, neither yellow nor white.
I had these issues before in my screen I sent it to fix and after I became careful with heat and applying pressue on my phone, I never seen the issue reaccur.
so just be careful not to get the phone too hot, and be careful not to sit on your phone, not to accidently fall asleep on it, AND if you put it in your pocket its a little dangerous especially if you have tight pockets as when you sit or walk, your leg moves and with it there will be pressure applying to certain areas of the device (As it is very big) which will cause micro bendings that will apply pressure on the screen and with time it will become yellow or dotted with white, makes it look ugly.
also stay away from sitting with your device in your pocket (even the front pocket) as your leg is bent and its not in a straight line which will pressure the screen.
if that helpt press kodus or accept as solution
