Ive had my XZP for a month now and I frequently use Facebook Messenger app. I've never had a problem with it on any of my xperias until now. I set it all up signed in etc. Ive been try to talk to my partner using messenger while she's at work so delayed messaging of course. Now I message her, lock my phone and put it down on the table. 10-15 minutes go by and I check my phone, no reply so I put it back down, I check again unlocking it this time and no notification so I pull up the app and then it refreshes and I see I have multiple messages from my partner. I've checked multiple times and uninstalled and reinstalled the app twice now just to make sure it's not the app, checked the settings and all notification settings are correct. I'm on android 8.0 and the only way I can tell if my partner is talking to me is by using my old Z5P which makes owning a new Xperia rather redundant, any help or ideas would be much appreciated, sorry for the massive paragraph too
