XZ hotspot problem

XZ hotspot problem

other devices can not connect to my hotspot from XZ!

I dont know when did it start (i think after 7.1)

normally i share my internet with my ipad but i realised that it connects but no data share.

also i tried with other wifi devices and all connects but says "no internet"

any one knows why is that?

Hi @Kreetwight, welcome to the community.

Try going to Settings > More > Internet Settings. This will re-download and re-apply your APN settings. 

It is also worth checking with your network if they have a specific APN they use for tethering.

It didnt work! 

I checked apn info manuelly as well, everything is ok

Still no data share! 

Also doesnt share internet with bluetooth!

@Kreetwight,

Have you checked with your network to see if they use a different APN for data sharing, or they have disabled it on your account for some reason?

So you still facing this kind of problem because i also dacing it now my phone can't shre it internet to other devices

it cant be becasue of APN settings, because sharing internet via bluetooth tethering works ok.

I have same problem, and I think it is bug related XZ dual, becasue not many people compain about it...

My phone has problem on hotspot.It is sony xz
