XZ battery performance not claimed to be 2 days

Hmm, it seems that they removed / Did not state that this phone has "2 Days" worth of battery life.
Disclaimer: No hate! Just curious and just putting it out there.

2900mAh is not quite a powerbank but not even a small battery.. however Sony is finally not stating the 2 days battery life because based on real life usage that was a very big lie. True, I did get 12/15 days of standby with my Z3c and about 8 days of standby time with the C5 but then I load up all the apps that I need and if I don't use them and I am lucky I don't receive emails (that never happens) I can get 3 to 4 days of standby time on the Z3c and about 2 with the C5. But if I start to receive phone calls, reading replying emails, checking servers (using JuiceSSH), HipChat, Hangouts, Whatsapp, taking pictures, having my Moto360 and smartband paired and so on... Real life battery life is about 9/12 hours with the Z3c and about 10/14 hours with the C5.

Mind also that all reviews from important and relevant sources were always underlining that Sony always say 2 days but reality was really different... Meaning that at least reviewers for this time won't underline again the Sony exaggerate when state 2 days of battery life!!

And sure, no hate! I love xperia phones but idols also say lies just to sell... It's called Marketing Strategy!

They talked about up to 2 days battery life on XPERIA Z3 Compact. They never said 2 days battery life. Even on XPERIA X Performance they said up to 2 days battery life. Now on XPERIA XZ they are not talking about battery duration. Maybe because battery on XPERIA X Performance can't manage up to 2 days battery life especially when using 4G/LTE network.

My wife's Z3c last forever but, we have to admit, we despise whatsapp and barely stand Facebook so we are on the bright side of the battery life.

By the way, how long Xz battery stands in real life, if someone already tested it?

I can somehow assume it will be similar to Z5 as it has the same 2900mAh battery, so...

It seems logical they'd remove that, because I'm finding my XZ battery runs down as fast as that little battery in the first Xperia Z did.

Disappointed with the lack of staying power on this phone.

Z2 and Z3 both had much better battery life

my XZ lasts around 24 hours on average use. On heavy use it will Ah will last around 15 hours.

The battery life seems to be good for me, its last for 1 day with heavy use,compared to my last phone mate 8!!!

How long a battery lasts is entirely dependent on how much use the phone gets. Coming from an iPhone 6S Plus I'm finding the battery life to be dreadful and I'm charging the XZ twice a day when I used to charge the 6S+ once....but then I'm a heavy user.

I have stamina mode on the middle setting all the time,  95% of apps have notifications blocked and my display brightness is on auto. Web browsing is the biggest battery drain for me, and that's what I do most of.

I get around 10 hours of battery backup on moderate usage.. Sony has everything in their favor.. A 1080p screen , sd820 and android M features.

Still its very disappointing. I'm not sure what's wrong. Sony this is your flagship it is suppose to perform better. Cheap Chinese brands are giving everything better in half the price

Stamina mode is messed up.. It's not at all useful anymore. It makes the phone lag.
