XZ as my main phone but question on XA1

So iv been thinking about getting a XA1 only as a backup phone if my main phone breaks down. I currently have an iphone 5s that im using and its just headache going back to this piece of crap. 

What i wanted to know is, my main phone is a XZ but will i be able to restore a backup to the XA1?

Only reason i ask is because i use to have a Z5 and it wouldnt let me restore a backup on the XZ when i first got it.

Hi @lowkey.

Using the restore function in Xperia Companion you will not be able to restore your back up to another device, however, you can use the Xperia Transfer option in Xperia Companion to do this. You can also transfer directly from one device to another using Xperia Transfer Mobile.
