Xperia zx3 (Equalizer/audio)

Hi,

So I'm trying to figure out why the equalizer doesn't make any differences while headphones are plugged in. I have tried different headphones and speakers and no difference, along with the clearbass and clear audio+, none seem to affect headphones but work when nothing is plugged in with just the phone speakers.

Any ideas?

note: been testing with wired headphones my only thought is that its something to do with it not having the 3.5mm port?

Using Spotify but the equalizer itself is just the factory set one from this device

@ZulaI'm pretty sure that Spotify app doesn't respect equalizer settings, and that's something for them to fix. try playing some music with the stock music app and check if different equalizer presets make a difference there.

Which usb-c to 3.5mm adapter are you using?

The included one supports the eq settings, but ones with built in DAC ignore it and just amplify the raw sound.
