Xperia XZ premium , a high end smartphone which cant even connect to wifi

The phone's wifi . Sometimes, the wifi is disconnected in every 5 or 10 minutes. Sometimes it doesnt even connect even if i am 2 or 3 meters away from the router. Even if it is connected , the download rate is 11 or 12 KB/s The internet connection is fine in pc, download rate being 3 MB/s . HUGE REGRET byung this phone. Wont recommend this phone to anybody.

If you haven't done a software repair. Do it. Otherwise try resetting your router. Had a similar problem with my XZP. Somehow my router tried to block my phone. After a reset (not reboot) everything worked fine

Be sure to do a backup of the router's configuration so you don't have to set it all up from scratch. Make sure you have the latest available firmware for the router. Do a repair of the XZ Premium...not a reset from the phone itself...that way all the network settings will be fresh on both router and the phone. If possible stick with 2.4 gHz.

Is the network an open network, or secured with encryption like WPA2?

Try using the phone and connect to another wifi and see if same problem persist. 

I have zero issues connecting the XZP to any network at home, work, cafe's, wifi etc, suspect that the router can be the culprit here.
