Hi @Charlei,

It sounds like you have a NFC tag near your Xperia device that it is trying to read. It can be a bank or access card for instance. I recommend that you turn your NFC sensor off and see if you are still experiencing the same behavior. You can do so if you go to: Settings > Device connection > NFC > Off.

Note that this will not affect any pairings you have already done using your NFC sensor, but to make a new one you will need to enable your NFC sensor again.

@Angipangi have you tried following the steps posted by @Emil in the comment above yours? If you use a wallet phone case and keep a credit/debit card that supports contactless payments, the phone will react to the chip in the card unless you disable NFC.
