While charging the flashlight turns on but it's dim

I put my xperia xz on charge and I noticed that the flashlight was on but really dim. I looked at my settings alnd it said the flashlight was off and when I stop charging the phone the light turns off. What is this?

I had this problem.

Support suggested to do uninstall every app and do a factory reset, which I didn't do.  After the last phone update, I still had the problem. I did a "Reboot to Safe Mode" and back to normal mode and the flashing seems to have disappeared. 

Anyone still with the problem can confirm that?

Hi there!

I experience the same issue. However, I figured out, that when I switch to Sony UCH20 (no quickcharge, I think) charger, this issue dissapears. Also, it stops when battery is around 60%. I have heard, that this is a treshold for Sony to stop quickcharging. So, my suggestion is: Is this have something to do with the adapter? Some fault of it? Can someone from Sony, reply, please?

I'm just suposing here but I think it has something to do with battery care. That the flashlight some kind of a regulator so that the battery doesn't charge full. Just speculating here
