Video playback issues

I have a problem when viewing pictures and videos. As when I go horizontal full screen, the  display has vertical lines on the left half of the screen, is this just a bug or my screen has a problem? Has anyone experienced this? Full screen video problem

Looks kind of board issue with when video hardware experiencing trouble playing it. Or display panel issue but u says no problem with other apps.. can u play movies, camera videos in other video player apps in full screen like using Mx player or VLC player? 

Try in safe mode too... Clear cache and data of video and album apps and restart phone..  

There is no bugs with these apps but few issues like these wer posted before by other users as well and fixed by full clearing data. 

If those lines on display again appears , you will have to take the phone to service centre and they will anyway do the full factory reset. You can do back up all your data and factory reset too to see if it can be fixed or means to avoid the issue from occuring again... Factory reset is the last option.. till then try force stop and clear data of those apps and restart and test in safe mode to confirm the issue.

Accidentally when I used the stamina mode, all worked well. When I turned it back again to normal mode, same issues to the left side of the screen on videos ( when in full screen) and picture on album app

Guess video enhancement turned on producing the issues.... Try different video modes in display settings...and see which runs fine....or causing problems. May b a factory reset solves the issue.

And are you sure all videos in your phone exhibit same full screen problem? Or just that particular video? Just asked to know if that particular video format is the reason behind for the video codec to show those patterns on screen. 

If same problem again, turn off video enhancements and use the phone without stamina mode..

Facebook app videos ok, Chrome browser videos ok. So the problems are The Sony picture album app, and Sony video app, and youtube app. Thanks for your help.. Will try resetting and will let you know. 👍🏼
