Sony XZ Premium (G8142) - Android Oreo 8
The built in software updater lists 4 applications to update:
Booking.com (not needed)
File Commander (Not needed)
Outlook (Not needed)
Prime Video (Not needed)
(1) I have noticed on APK Mirror website there is a Sony section https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/sony-mobile-communications/ and here are many other apps with newer versions or updates that are not found in the stock system updater... I have sucessfully updated many of them that were pre-installed in my phone from here, but am wondring why these are not 'found' or notified by in the software update? They are also not found on gooles play store....
(2) My current version of 'Album' is 9.2.A.0.12 & the latest app 9.3.A.0.12 fails to install...
(3) Can anyone tell me what is the best supported 'archictecture' of a Xperia Premium G8142? As there are a few varieties to pick from on other 3rd party apps....
arm64-v8a + armeabi-v7a / armeabi-v7a / arm64-v8a / x86 ?
I am really happy with my XZP and can't wait for Pie to arrive
