Unstable network reception

Hello,

Recently I have been experiencing a lot of issue with network reception.
While moving between one place to another XZ1 loses network and never reconnects to it.
I had to restart every time to make XZ1 find the network and connect to it.

I think this one is the biggest problem so far with XZ1(After double tap to wake and Image retention) since I am not able to communicate and use basic functionality of the phone.

I have been also experiencing issues with Dialer when this happens, The dialer hangs and the solution is again restart phone.

PS: I am using latest version 47.1.A.8.49.

I know sony staff don't read this forum(and don't care to).
So far the issues I have sent them over email and this forum are not acknowledged by anyone from Sony (Forget about the Fixing).

Maybe this brings a solution.

If not, then ask your question again.

Besides: I am sure that the Sony staff will turn up for you when the given suggestions don't work for you.

It often happens to me too, ghost network.I have already reported the problem, they also advised me to do a software repair with Sony Companion.If I stay at home nothing happens, but if you travel within 10 km the phone has notches of the ghost network but there is no way to reconnect and make phone calls. The only solution is to restart the phone This is a serious problem, the radio part of the phone goes into deep sleep without waking up. RESOLVE SOON!

I don't usally post problems without trying troubleshooting steps.

Are you sure sony guys turn up ? since I can't see that happening anywhere in this forums (even to more serious issues)

Today I asked for a second time to Sony in chat, the official answer is to take him for assistance.  I'm sorry to miss calls during my travels outside the country (Italy, mobile network  tre.it) and having the thought of restarting several times a day, this is not a good thing.

I'll escalate this issue for you. Just to confirm, did you try restarting in safe mode or performing a software repair using Xperia Companion?

Of course, 2 times repaired with the Sony Companion software and left clean without app. It is as if the radio part of the mobile phone, if it travels in the street and hooks up many GSM / UMTS bridges, freezes until it is rebooted.

May I know the name of your network provider/country?

certainly, surely the problem could be only with some mobile operators and in certain situations. 

Thecountry is Italy,

The mobile operator is 'tre' (tre.it)

I did tried safe mode and software repair and that didn't work.

I am using XZ1 Dual so I have two providers.

Provider : Jio and Vodafone

Country: India
