Unneeded application update

How to remove an application update that I don't want to install? Like Prime Video & Booking.com Hotel apps.

Open the PlayStore app > swipe left to right > settings > uncheck auto update apps

If you have updated the apps there's nothing you can do, you could download the apk somewhere else, uninstall the current app and install the APK, I wouldn't do it, make sure you know the risk of sideloading apps

Thanks for the idea..

But I am referring to an app in the system updates. Pushed-app which I don't want to install.

Thanks..

Ok, those are suggestions, you don't have to install them.

Is there a way to remove it from the application update?

Not that I'm aware of w/o root access.

I came here looking for an answer to this. This is something relatively new within the last few months and all I can think is they must be paying Sony to get these apps built in.

Wish I could disable this "feature" .
