You can use Google Keep, if you don't have it pre installed you can easily download it from Google play.

@Jupiter420 there's no preinstalled notepad app, but you can choose from a number of notepad apps available in Play Store. my personal favourites are Standard Notes (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.standardnotes), Scarlet Notes (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bijoysingh.quicknote) and Omni Notes (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.feio.android.omninotes).
