Hi,
I am going to be driving from Glasgow to London. I don't want to be driving the 400+ miles in silence, so will have the radio on. I am planning on using Google maps and would like the directions to come through the bluetooth on my car speakers. Is there a way to get Google maps to interrupt the radio when there is directions to be given. I know this can be done on an iphone, but is it possible with android?

After the phone is connected to your car radio by Bluetooth, go to Google Maps app>top left 3 lines menu>settings>navigation settings>switch on "play audio by Bluetooth".
Yeah, doesn't work. It only works if I change my car source to Bluetooth, which means I will be driving in silence for long distances.
Iphones have the option to 'Play as Bluetooth phonecall', which is what android phones need. This means u can listen to the radio and have notifications come throught the speakers if and when there is one.
