Supporting AptX HD

Hi!

So, i'd like to find out, if it is planned to improve some drivers to make Sony Xperia XZ to support the "AptX HD" technology. It would be awesome to get the most of the A&K XB10 bluetooth amplifier.. Or maybe there are some plans to teach the amplifier to work with sony hi-res audio?

I have now received some more information regarding this. The following Xperia devices currently support Qualcomm aptX HD:

Xperia XZ1 / XZ1 Dual SIM
Xperia XZ1 Compact

Thank you. As i know, the XZ Premium supports it too.

So what about my XZ? The device is pretty fresh, and the deal is in codec, right? 

As i found, LDAC is better then AptX HD, so XZ should be enough for both. 

May i ask you to forward the question to some software development dept?

@Vladieraven, at this point only the models I listed above have support for aptX HD. I do not have any information regarding support for this feature for other devices.

Whether I can hope you will obtain exhaustive information regarding update plans for XZ concerning AptX HD support?

Would like to see support for APT X HD for the XZ Sony needs to show that they are serious about audio otherwise we end up with LG stuff

At this point I don't have any information regarding adding support for Qualcomm aptX HD to devices release prior to Xperia XZ1 and Xperia XZ1 Compact.
