suggestion for EZ1

Hi there,

I am new to use XZ1

I have few suggestions for XZ1  make it better

The power key is used frequently ( wake up/sleep/screen shot/shut down...)

loading too heavy,it's not good thing

1. Add double-click on fingerprint for wake up

2. Add AssistiveTouch function like iphone (white point)

3. User defines camera key function

and also the other question,

if screen is show locked state, screen will unlock when put finger on power key

Can this function be turn off ?

That's not an issue, that's how it's intended to work, you could set the fingerprint to a different finger

1.The fp Scanner then has to be always on even if the screen is off. Not sure how much power it needs.

2. Search for assistive touch in the Google playstore

3.search for button mapper (app made by flar2)

And to the last point,

Do you want to disable the fp sensor or should it only work when unlocking the phone when the screen is off/the power button is also pressed?

You just suggested what every Sony Xperia user need in his smartphone

Sony should looks seriouslly to what you have suggested, I feel disappointed from Sony, they should respond to user needs, at least they should tell us if they can do those things or not !!!!!

Apart from the current major issues like Unstable network, Unstable wifi, Location icon always on, I have few suggestions that can be implemented in next update for XZ1 (Android 8.1). 

• Double Tap to wake
• Ambient screen
• Night Light
• Answering machine
• Camera Improvements
• Image retention prevention

Please add any other features which are important to flagship phone, I will emailing this to sony support (I know even sony support will return us a canned response for this).

I am pretty much sure that Sony won't read this but this needs to be changed sony.

Camera2 is not much important to me.
For me Image Quality is important and we are asking sony Camera2 from a very long time but nothing came of that attempts and it seems that sony is not willing to implement that
