Smart Lock empty after update

Today I had to update the Android software on my 10-days old (new ;)) telephone. Since the update the Smart Lock option doesn't work anymore. When I tried to figure out what was wrong I discovered that the Smart Lock screen is empty. The options I saw before are gone. So I cannot set Smart Lock anymore. Am I the only one with this problem? Does any of you know how I can fix this?

Since I installed the new update yesterday, the smart lock on my phone is just blank, all my trusted places have disappeared, can anyone tell me why!

I can confirm I also get this bug.

Turning off Trusted agent before every restart, then turning it back on after boot is the only solution at the moment.

I have read that it is a problem on all makes and models though.

My wife's Pixel 2 is running 8.1 Oreo, and does not suffer from this problem. I can only hope this bug has high priority for our 8.1 build.

I was hoping the new 47.1.A.8 49. update would cure this but unfortunately not, got the update this morning and enabled smart locks again but within 2 hours it had failed as per before.

Same here, Smart lock just gives me a blank screen. I'm not factory resetting it Sony, that seems to be your answer to every problem posted here! If it's that simple to work tech support, can I get a job please?

I'm very dissapointed with this 'flagship' XZ1 phone. I won't be buying another Sony mobile!

I have a same issue with XZ1C after update and I can confirm that disabling earlier mentioned feature, rebooting and enabling it helps.

Let's see how long it works.
