I had a Xz premium dual G8142 broken, then I couldn't find another same model, so I bought a Xz premium G8141 with hope that the backup could restore into it, but it didn't work... Now I only need the contacts info, which I forgot to upload to Google account, from the backup file. Please help me with solution!

So you made a backup of the data present on your Xperia XZ Premium Dual, but you try to restore that data by Restarting that data into a Xperia XZ Premium, am I right?
When you try to do that, are you restoring all the data or only the contacts? I´m saying this because there could be some incompatibility due to different models types! Please, let me know so I can try to get you some answers!
Yes, my previous XZ premium dual was broken, i have its backup with full contents, the file is about 3.9GB... Im using the new XZ premium, all I need now is the contacts, which I forgot to upload to Google cloud, the other contents are not important. Pls help me!

So, it should be possible to restore the Contacts if the backup was done via Xperia Companion. If it isn´t working, you can try to Repair the Software of your device (note that this will erase all internal memory data) and try again, or contact your local support team to have a proper follow-up for the situation!

The previous backup is for XZ premium dual G8142, the Sony Companion app didn't allow it to be restored to XZ premium G8141... that's the point...
