Problems after XZ update to android 8.0 oreo!!!

HI 

Ive updated my phone yesterday and Ive been experiencing problems witht the phone ever since.  Below are just some problems that I have exprienced, I really hope this info reaches out to someone and the we will get improved version asap!!!  ((( 

1.Battery dies very fast and it seems that charging takes longer than previously. 

2.The phone is heating!! Old problem with heating is back..  

2.the phone is lagging..  works very slowly. also when tapping on icons the phone does not respond from the first or even second or third  tap..  which is really frustrating.  I guess overall resposiveness of the screen and acting weirdly even dragging icons is problematic.  

3.when trying to use some apps like mobile banking or even  simply searching the phone, the keyboard is not appearing and you can not use the app or search the phone.  

4.some apps and widgets do not work properly

This phone has been total crap after the last 2 updates, can't wait for my contact to finish so I can't get away from Sony

Try a factory reset.. May be it can help you.. 

 Update: still everything in general seems to be fine.. Battery lasted  close to 5hr of sot, the phone lags a lot when any kind of stamina mode is on..hate the aggressive backlight control and yeah charging is kinda slower than 7.1.1

The main issues with my phone after the update to oreo are :

- overheating 

- battery drain

- frequently freezing when using some applications, especially Facebook, Facebook messenger, and whatsapp

Did you reset to factory your XZ?

Did it solved anything?

After the last update (december), I think they have solved something that the phone is more responsible, but the camera.... IT TAKES 5 SECS TO OPEN! OR MORE!

Very slow here. 

Camera is slow. Almost useless. 

Any fixes?

Hey did you get this sorted? I uploaded Oreo onto my XZ this week and seeing all of the same issues as well as screen flicker. Have Sony sorted this!?
