Settings → Google→search (way down)→google assistent settings→smartphone→ok google detection off

Notice that google assistant itself can stay activated. And on top of that try preference for keyboard communication with the assistant.

It solved my restart and freeze problem instantly since 4 weeks.

I also added Xperia Home as device administrator, but I don't think that it's necessary...
