i think its only security update. did they update the phone app to oreo dailer or is it still the same?

it cant be happens because before 2 weeks Sony released the software 47.1.A.8.49-R4B for Customized HK

i think no call app update with latest update also. those days they said its only for the Oreo outof the box mobiles. still we didnt get the new caller app.

We don't know exactly. but i think there is some update. because normally Sony updates change only last 2 or 3 numbers if it only change the security patch. if the update change some issues with security update they change the numbers before the last numbers and point. if they release the major update that mean if they release the 8.0 to 8.1 definitely they change the second number after the first two number.

Example: Security patch 47.1.A.8.49 to 47.1.A.8.96

                 Security with fixed issues   47.1.A.8.49 to 47.1.A.12.34

                 Major update 47.1.A.8.49 to 47.2.A.1.36
