I cant get netflix for my xz premium from play store. And when i download and install it from netflix website it doesnt work. What am i missing i thought netflix had just roled out full hdr support for the xz premium?
No, i give up i have left email with Netflix but dont hold up much hope al i can think is has to be something I've downloaded but then it should show up / work in safe mode. I don't. Know what to do so am just gonna leave it. Thanks for the help
@Abc10 I am sorry you still can't use NetFlix but yes, for sure it's something related to them. Like a block.

I'm having the same problem. After some trials of resetting to factory settings and installation of the Netflix app from a mirror site I still couln't get Netflix working on my phone. I contacted Netflix and went through some guidanced steps with the local helpdesk and that did not help either. They said I would be called from the Netflix helpdesk in USA (I live in the Netherlands). I prepared for it and waited for the call. When the call came the employee only wanted me to confirm my device type is G8141. After confirmation she said there were some troubles with this device and the Netflix app. She said they were working on it and that I should check the Play store every week. As soon as they fix the problem the app should be available for me. It has been a month, nothing yet! I'm still waiting to see the Netflix shows in HD on my brand new Sony but unfortunately...
I cannot imagine that everyone with this device has problems with Netflix. I really wonder what causes this.

Same here, since day 1 I didn't have any problems. Maybe it's related to the type of subscription one has? I have the HD +2 screens option. Maybe the 4K + 4 screens option gives problems? Since it also incorporates HDR.
