i am using a high priced samsung pro plus 128gb micro sd card. this is the one i used before in the z5 compact and in the x performance. never had a problem. now, in the XZs, when starting the camera, it sometimes said: unable to detect sdcard. when i close the camera-app and reopen it, it will work. what can i do? i tried the card in my z5compact to make sure there isnt any failure with the sdcard - the z5c is managing well as always.

If it does the same thing in safe mode too, then because it happens with other SD cards I would recommend you try the software repair anyway, otherwise you will need to contact your retailer or Local support team for the next steps.
Good luck!
Thank you, I did that formatting on the computer. It didn't help. Software repair is next...
Came across this Amazon comment.
"The phone is excellent, except for one part... it frequently gives an error when reading from the SD card especially when I'm attempting to take pictures. The workaround has been to place the phone back to standby and then reopen the [default] camera app. It sometimes takes up to two tries. If this "Error: SD card unavailable" error occurs too frequently, I'm going to send this back for a replacement under warranty.
If something is occurring and I need a split-second to pull up the camera to take a picture/video so I don't miss it, a PREMIUM phone not performing in this manner can be a deal-breaker."
after software repair i tried the camera app. what happened is that immediately, at first try, the prompt came: sd card not available.
therefore i ordered a replacement today which i will receive in a few days. i ll keep you updated it the replacement has the same problem or not.
