Message parameters have stopped working when trying to enter a wifi network peap

Could you elaborate?

Yes. I try to add a wifi. It is a enterprise network method peap. I enter user and pwd and when I press record I get a message `settings app has stopped working'

I have tried to empty the cache of settings app. I read that it could be good also to erase the data of apps settings but I am scared to do it.

Odd, could you test the phone in >>> safe mode just to see if a third party app it's acting up

I booted in safe mode but that didn't solve problem.  I had the message Com. Android. Setup has stopped working

To be more explicit this message appears only when I try to record a new wifi network protocol peap with no validation of certificate but with a user and password. I press record and then I get this message

Actually my pb is solved it was just that to enter a wifi network you must procede in 2 steps
